Ever since its debut in 1989, the Mazda MX5 has managed to retain its fun-to-drive image resulting in an astronomical sales figure of more than 750,000 cars sold globally.
The MX5 has seen three generations of models, with each version being upgraded to rise up to the expectations of its designers. Each generation has its distinctive alterations and idiosyncrasies which gave it a powerful individuality. Like for instance, the 1st generation vehicle was fitted with pop-up headlights, while the second generation had fixed headlights with a rear glass window. The third generation that came into production in 2005 has a 2.0 litre engine with exclusive fender bulges that are situated over the wheel wells.
